Case study 03 · House of Noluhle

A shop that looks like a magazine and runs like a business.

House of Noluhle is a women's fashion e-commerce platform we designed and built end to end: an editorial storefront at the front, and a complete admin back office behind it so the team runs the shop without calling a developer.

01The problem

A brand that looks generic sells like it too.

Off-the-shelf store platforms make every fashion label look the same, and the moment you want your own layout, your own drop mechanics or your own way of running a promotion, you are fighting the tool. Meanwhile the real work, the catalogue and orders and returns, ends up in spreadsheets and direct messages.

02The storefront

Built around the photography.

The layout gives campaign imagery room to work: editorial spacing, real typography, and a path to the product that never gets in the way.

The storefront hero and collection navigation
  • A storefront built around the photography instead of a template fighting it
  • Full catalogue with categories, colour and size variants, and live stock
  • Search that suggests products as you type
  • Wishlists and reviews, for signed-in shoppers and guests alike
  • A cart that survives sign-in, so nothing is lost between guest and account
  • Checkout through Paystack, with address autocomplete via Google Places
  • Accounts with saved addresses, order history, tracking and returns
  • Back-in-stock alerts and a newsletter signup that actually collects
03Behind the scenes

An admin the team runs themselves.

The half of an online store nobody shows you. Adding a product, running a sale, refunding an order, approving a review: each one is a screen a non-technical person can use on the day they need it.

  • Products and categories: create, edit, price and manage variants
  • Orders end to end, from payment through fulfilment to return
  • Discounts and promotions, including campaigns on a timer
  • Review moderation and returns handling
  • Customers, with order history per person
  • Product imagery pulled straight from Google Drive
04What changed

The brand owns its own shopfront.

New drops go live without a redesign. Promotions run on the brand's schedule rather than a platform's. And the day-to-day work, stock and orders and returns, happens in one place instead of across spreadsheets, inboxes and messages.
